Cooperative Development Program
Fueling Our Members’ Work.
The Cooperative Development Program (CDP) is a global initiative of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). Through its grants and guidance, the CDP fuels the work of OCDC members in the areas of agriculture, finance and health. These cooperative-building and-strengthening activities target governance, leadership, gender empowerment, youth engagement, financial management, market performance and advocacy.
Working as one.
We promote sustainability and self-reliance through local ownership using cooperatives as a proven business model.
Through all of these activities, OCDC promotes collaborative learning, generates research and brings cooperative development practitioners together to build a more prosperous world through cooperatives.
