OCDC’s International Cooperative Research Group (ICRG) and The Co-operative University of Kenya (CUK) held an exciting session on November 8, 2023 that focused on women’s financial inclusion. Speakers shared findings from the ICRG and CUK’s collaborative study that explored informal and formal financial structures and their impact on women. In a follow-up session, we will explore social capital and networks that help strengthen the role of women in the local economy.
