Bahman Naraghi

Program Management and Compliance Associate

Bahman Naraghi has over 10 years experience in the non-profit world, including in international development, mainly in project implementation and management.  Most recently, Bahman managed the humanitarian logistics program for the National Capital Region of the American Red Cross where he coordinated a team of over 70 volunteers in supporting the daily disaster responses across DC, northern VA and two counties in MD.   

Bahman has experience implementing projects under federal contracts, grants and cooperative agreements in the national security, humanitarian and development sectors.  Research has been a significant part of his responsibilities throughout his professional career, on topics ranging from countries’ scientific and technical level of sophistication to international legal standards related to gender-based violence and domestic abuse.   

Bahman holds an LLM in International & EU Law from the Free University of Brussels and a JD from Case Western Reserve University.  He is fluent in Farsi and French and has basic knowledge of Spanish.
