Hermanson addresses ag globalization, inequities

In a recent post on the SPORE blog, Judith Hermanson, director of OCDC’s Research Group, addressed the globalization of agriculture, but wrote that well-organized, member-controlled cooperatives provide an important mechanism by which smallholders can literally take matters into their own hands through collective action, providing members with leverage and helping to mitigate risk.
