** SUBMISSION DEADLINE EXTENDED** New deadline for submission of proposals is Wednesday, June 10, 2020, by 5 pm EST.  Please scroll down for link to Q&A The International Cooperative Research Group (Research Group) of the US Overseas Cooperative Development Council (OCDC) has embarked on a multi-year, multi-country cross-sector regional research study on the effects that cooperatives have on the social and economic well-being of individuals and the broader effects that they have in the communities where they are located. Through this Short Study the Research Group seeks to gather information from a randomly selected sample of non-cooperative members to complement information addressing four key research questions. The questions are: 1. Do cooperative members benefit economically from their cooperative membership and participation? 2. Do cooperative members benefit socially from their cooperative membership and participation? 3. Do communities benefit economically from the presence of cooperatives? 4. Do communities benefit socially from the presence of cooperatives? Definition of Terms For the purposes of this Short Study we define the following terms:

The Research Group is looking for a Lima-based professional, hereafter referred as the Consultant to conduct a quantitative survey to a randomized sample of 250 non-cooperative members. The Consultant will use a structured questionnaire that contains predominantly closed-ended, or forced-choice, questions. The questionnaire has already been designed and tested in Peru and can be found in Annex A in English; Spanish version will be provided once award is issued. Given the current restrictions imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic individual surveys will be conducted remotely by phone or any other electronic means proposed by the Consultant and considered acceptable by the Research Group. Respondents will be randomly selected across the country. Find Updated RFP Q&A here  View full RFP here. Biodata Form
