Energy cooperatives in selected countries of the world. Legal and economic aspects

The current problems related to the continuity of supply and higher energy prices can be solved at least to some extent by energy cooperatives. Cooperatives are involved in the production, supply, and distribution of energy. They can effectively use locally available decentralized renewable energy, as well as support technological innovation. These entities are increasingly being established in countries as diverse as Germany, Italy, Denmark, Bolivia, Spain, Argentina, France, the United States, Brazil, Poland, and others. Cooperatives are also a part of civic energy, as this form is in line with the needs and expectations of citizens in the field of energy, especially renewable energy. The book presents legal and economic aspects of the functioning of energy cooperatives and other cooperative entities operating in the field of renewable energy.
