Patterns and determinants of agricultural cooperatives’ business performance in rural Rwanda using geographical information systems

This research takes the form of a pilot within the first phase that aims at producing reliable, rigorous, and empirical evidence about the patterns and determinants of agricultural cooperatives’ business performance in rural Rwanda using geographical information systems. The study’s key research question is as follows: What are the key variables in the agricultural value chain that correlate with Rwandan primary agricultural cooperatives’ economic success, as defined by a high business‐membership ratio?
