Aline Guzik Duno is a Global Program Manager at the World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU), where she supports two USAID-funded projects: the GROW Project in Ukraine, helping credit unions to improve and expand their services for entrepreneurs, MSMEs, cooperatives and farmers in the rural areas of Ukraine, and AGIL4CU, advancing credit unions’ ability to provide value to their members and contribute to the economic development of their communities, while extending business financing to underserved market segments, including women and youth.
With over seven years of experience in social development, stakeholder engagement, and program management, Aline previously served at the Permanent Mission of Mexico to the United Nations in New York, specializing in gender-responsive initiatives within humanitarian affairs, mental health, conflict resolution, and peace operations, among other portfolios.
Her career includes roles in public health, social protection policies, and affordable housing at Mexico’s IMSS (Mexican Institute of Social Security) and INFONAVIT (Institute of the National Housing Fund for Workers), contributing to policies promoting economic welfare and social inclusion.
Aline holds a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), focusing on Social Policy and Gender. She earned her BA in International Relations from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. Beyond her professional roles, Aline has contributed as Co-Chair of the Women’s Foreign Policy Group’s Young Professionals in NY and as a Youth Associate at the Mexican Council of Foreign Relations (COMEXI), authoring policy papers on gender equality and participating in various publications and media engagements.
