Dylan Butler

Senior Manager, Bilateral and Multilateral Partnerships, Root Capital

Dylan Butler has over fifteen years of international business development and project management experience.

Mr. Butler has worked with both nonprofit and private sector stakeholders to develop agricultural and market system programs using hands-off, facilitative, and results-driven approaches. At Root Capital, Mr. Butler is responsible for leading and implementing solutions that leverage Root Capital’s unique blended finance model within Root Capital’s growing public partnerships portfolio. Prior to joining Root Capital, Mr. Butler led business development at the World Council of Credit Unions, operations and contract negotiations for Allegis Global Solutions, and seven years designing and managing development projects with ACDI/VOCA, USAID’s Office of Food for Peace, and Chemonics International. 

Mr. Butler holds a B.A. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Vermont and an M.A. in International Commerce and Policy from George Mason University.
