Laurent Gomis is the Chief of Party (COP) for CDP Guinea and the ACDI/VOCA Country Representative in Guinea.

Laurent is a development professional with more than 20 years of experience in rural development by supporting local organizations including small businesses, NGOs and both nascent and mature cooperatives. Throughout his career, Laurent has always opted for straightforward, replicable and sustainable solutions. He has ten years of experience working as Chief of Party leading implementation in Senegal, the Gambia, Guinea-Bissau and Guinea (Conakry). He currently leads the CDP project in Guinea, which aims to create three (3) agricultural cooperatives in a mining area devoid of agricultural activities. Laurent is an agronomist and holds an MBA in project management since 2021.
