As Director of Global Development, Marcel supervises the GENEX Cooperative Development Program activities with ongoing projects in Peru and South Africa.

In addition, Marcel is responsible for other URUS international development activities, including the expansion of the business into African countries, with a current focus on Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Nigeria. For the last 11 years, Marcel worked in the livestock production space either in international sales and distribution or in R&D and biotechnology services. Prior to his career with URUS and predecessor companies, Marcel worked in venture capital, M&A, consulting and sales.  He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from The Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies (ASE) and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
