MARIETA “Mayet” PANAGLIMA HWANG is the CDA Region III Extension Office Director.

She was from Liliw Laguna and born on July 18, 1964. A graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Business at the University of the Philippines Los Banos as COCOFED Scholar. Graduate of MBA at the Philippine School of Business Administration, Manila. With earned units in Doctor in Public Administration from the University of the Philippines Diliman, QC. A diploma holder of Development Management as scholar of the Development Academy of the Philippines. Attended numerous seminars and short courses locally and internationally.

She has previously worked as Municipal Trade and Industry Officer at the Department of Trade and Industry in Laguna in 1990 to 1992. She later worked with the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA)- Calamba Extension Office as Cooperative Development Specialist II (CDS II) and that was the beginning of her journey at CDA. With her perseverance to serve the Cooperative Sector, she climbed the ladder of success from CDS II to Senior CDS to Supervising CDS to Chief CDS and finally, she gained her position as Director where she served for more than 10 years.
