Pamela Kaburu

Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist at Global Communities, USAID CLEAR+ Project

Pamela Kaburu is a dynamic and self-motivated Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) Specialist with over 13 years of experience in designing and implementing MEL frameworks for donor-funded programs in multiple sectors such as agriculture, peace building, cooperatives, food security, youth and livelihoods.

She has proven experience setting monitoring, evaluation learning and research strategies and overseeing their implementation for a holistic approach to programming. Pamela is innovative, consultative and always seeking new ways to solve everyday program challenges using data. She is results oriented and passionate about demonstrating and telling impact stories. Pamela’s goal is to help maintain program relevance through data and the story beyond numbers. Pamela is currently the MEL Specialist at Global Communities for the USAID funded Cooperative Development Program -Cooperative Leadership Engagement Advocacy and Research (CLEAR+) program. Prior to joining Global Communities in 2018, Pam worked with Mercy Corps Kenya for about 6 years within the MEL department and successfully closed different donor funded projects. At Global Communities, Pamela has served in different capacities with different programs within the MEL department. Pamela graduated from Moi University with a First-Class Honors in Social Sciences.
