In her role, she provides a wide range of programmatic support to USAID and USDA-funded cooperative development, food safety, and trade projects in Egypt and Lebanon. She has a MA in International Commerce and Development, specializing in the MENA region, and in previous roles, has worked in childhood education in Iraq and Morocco.
