A native of Morocco, Ms. Salma Kadiri joined the USAID/Morocco Mission in January 2016.
She currently serves as a project management specialist focused on economic growth and is also leading the Mission’s climate design and integration process. Ms. Kadiri is a champion for women and underrepresented groups, including female smallholder farmers, thanks to programs she manages that support women-led cooperatives and workforce development. Prior to joining USAID, she worked in microfinance and sustainable development for organizations such as the Millennium Challenge Corporation and Heinrich Boell Foundation. She studied Finance at ISCAE, a business school in Casablanca, and holds a master’s degree in microfinance from the University of Bergamo in Italy, concentrating on environmentalism and sustainable development.
