Sylandi Brown, MA

Communications Manager, ICRG

Sylandi Brown is the Communications Manager for the International Cooperative Research Group (ICRG), the research arm of the U.S Overseas Cooperative Development Council (OCDC).

As Communications Manager, Sylandi oversees and supports communications, marketing and outreach for the ICRG’s various research initiatives and projects.

Sylandi has worked extensively with electric co-ops and in communications for the cooperative movement both domestically and internationally. In 2021, she was recognized by the International Cooperative Alliance as an emerging leader of the cooperative movement under the age of 25.

Sylandi proudly serves as a board member of the National Cooperative Business Association CLUSA International, Vice-Chairwoman of the Hawkinsville-Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce, member of the Middle Georgia Regional Commission Council, and member of the Pulaski County Board of Education. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from Valdosta State University and a Master’s Degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University of Georgia.
