During crisis, organizations most in tune to the needs of their constituents, with solid business resiliency frameworks in place, succeed.

A business is only as resilient as it is adaptable.

On average, forty two percent of respondents say the COVID-19 crisis weakened their companies’ competitive position compared with twenty eight percent who say their companies increased their competitive edge.

When threatened by the Covid-19 Pandemic, cooperatives helped Sam a dressmaker and other member businesses survive.

  • Fact 1. Sam was invited to join Bagong Barrio Co-op, a co-op of tailors and gown-makers.
  • Fact 2. As a member Sam grew to own 2 storefronts.
  • Fact 3. During C-19 Sam was able to adapt her business and survive the crisis.
